Disusul dengan keadaan kota yang semakin tidak karuan karena virus itu menyebar cepat menyerang para warganya. Kemudian muncul sekelompok vampir yang berkata akan menyelamatkan umat manusia tetapi dengan syarat para manusia itu menjadi ternak bagi para vampir tersebut. Di sini kita akan bertemu dengan keluarga Hyakuya yang ditangkap oleh para vampir. Mereka merupakan anak-anak dari panti asuhan Hyakuya. Dua orang diantaranya yang akan menjadi tokoh utama yakni Mikaela Hyakuya dan Yuichiro Hyakuya. Keduanya merupakan anak tertua dari panti tersebut. Mikaela dengan berbagai macam cara berusaha membebaskan keluarganya dari sarang vampir, salah satunya yakni pura-pura setia dengan Ferid Bathory. Yakni salah satu dari ketua vampir. Namun, nahasnya usaha Mikaela sia-sia karena Ferid ternyata menjebaknya. Seluruh keluarga Hyakuya mati di tangan Ferid tetapi hanya Yuichiro yang bisa lari dari sana. Sinopsis Suatu hari entah darimana virus muncul dengan tiba-tiba di bumi virus itu menginfeksi dan menewaskan manusia yang telah berumur lebih dari 13 tahun, tapi virus itu kebal dengan manusia yang telah burumur 13 tahun kebawah. Bael and Paimon are two humanoid seraphs who are with Sika Madu in the memory. Amon, Belial, Astaroth, Marbas, Bathin, Naberius, Raum, and Orobas are others. Certain he can get them all to paradise, Sika Madu claims he will dispose of Mikaela. Not really believing him, Paimon informs Bael they will have to kill Mikaela themselves. Unconcerned for his own illness, Paimon does not want God cursing Sika Madu. Discussing what they would do, Mika and Yu support views from both Paimon and Bael. With the situation they are in, Yu wonders if this is hell. Rather than the tower supposedly leading to it, Yu has his own idea of heaven. Sika Madu tells Mikaela they may need to move from the city.
